Twisted Love

Adetanwa Odebiyi’s first novel, Twisted Love, is an interesting story of family relationship which focuses on sibling rivalry. It is insightful and thought-provoking. It traces, in large measure, the parental and adult insensitivity to children’s feelings which pervades traditional African settings and allows little bruises to develop into festering sores. It makes for refreshingly brisk reading.

The book pleasantly becomes compulsive reading because the theme is hardly publicly discussed even though it is a rampant sociological menace.
